The thing with a prequel is we already know how the story will end. I eventually figured out to dash-jump into the turret on the lower outcrop, hang there until the shrapnel from the shot goes past, then you have just enough time to jump up and smash the upper turret before it fires again. These two need to have a real conversation about their marriage and figure things out before it continues to affect their children negatively. Sprint is exactly what it sounds like but in addition to moving faster, you can dash with your sword and jump further. This spot definitely had me stuck for a while on my Born Ready playthrough. can’t keep avoiding having a conversation about their issues. Cyber Shadow is a game created by Meka Skull and published by Yacht Club Games who is previously known for their work on the Shovel Knight series. One thing is for certain, Mary can’t keep hiding out at Connie’s place and George Sr. Welcome to the unofficial subreddit for Cyber Shadow. are pervasive, and possibly beyond help from a therapist. ![]() It is clear that the issues between Mary and George Sr. Paige’s mom suggests marriage counselling, but George Sr. and Mary drive with Paige’s mom to pick up the girls and instead of trying to figure out what’s going on with Missy that could make her do something like this, they’re too busy blaming each other. Defeat Subject Alpha v1 by parrying only. ![]() Like imagine if Propeller Knight’s stage was level 2. It really tries to emulate older games that had just ball ripping difficulty. One aspect that I do find completely negative is the lack of control input customization, I should not be forced to be limited to NES-like 2 button inputs just because the game is retro-inspired, especially the shuriken should have had its own button input, there were countless times where the shuriken didn't register because of this, It’s very different from Shovel Knight (mostly bc ycg only produced it and didn’t actually make it). Which is most likely why they give you gimmick weapons that you lose after 3 hits, to sorta spice up your combat until then, Of course, this also translates into the level design. While it's normal for games like this to give you more tools as you progress, your initial toolset is extremely limited (melee attack and jump) and the first half of upgrades don't improve your situation all that much, and with how extremely limiting the ammo/mana system is, those tools will be near-useless in combat and only good for puzzles for at least 60% of the game. It is ultimately a good game, but its pacing is a bit lacking. ![]()
